Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the MBSM Trust App (“App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application.

Information we collect

We may collect or process the following information depending on how you use the App:

• Information you provide: If you contact us through the App (for example via a contact form), you may provide name, phone number, email address, and message content.
• Donation-related information: If the App redirects you to a third-party payment service, the payment is processed by that provider. We do not collect or store your card/UPI/bank details in the App.
• Device and usage information: We may receive basic technical information from your device and operating system (for example, device model, OS version, app version) as part of normal app operation and troubleshooting.

Automatically stored on your device

To improve performance, the App may store some data locally on your device, such as:

• Cached blog content (downloaded from our blog feed) so it loads faster next time.

Blogs and remote content

The App can load blog posts from a remote JSON feed hosted online (for example via GitHub Pages). When you open the Blogs section, your device may connect to that service to fetch blog titles/content and blog images (via image URLs).

Permissions

The App may request permissions only when needed for specific features, such as:

• Internet access (to load remote blog content, images, and open external links)
• Photos/Media/Camera (only if you use features that require selecting or capturing images, if available in your build)

You can manage permissions anytime from your device settings.

Third-party services

The App may use third-party services and plugins (for example to open links, load network images, or support sign-in/payment redirects). These services may collect information as governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with through the App.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

• With service providers that help operate app functionality (if applicable), or
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Data retention

• Contact messages (if you send them) may be retained as needed to respond and maintain records.
• Cached blog content stored on your device can be removed by clearing the App’s storage/cache or uninstalling the App.

Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above when changes are made.
